Soft Extracts
These are formulated by adding a suitable leaching agent to an herbal drug substance to filter the leaching solution through warm precipitation, cold precipitation, or percolation method for a specific time and then concentrating it into a syrup.

The soft extracts of Artemisia herb are used as the main ingredients for gastritis treatment through the improvement of acute and chronic gastritis and gastric mucosal lesions, and the administration of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory analgesic drugs.

Liquid Extracts
Liquid extracts are produced by the percolation of finely ground herbal drug substances. The leaching solution of crude medicine is generally prepared to contain about 1 g of a soluble ingredient in 1 ml.

These are formulated by adding the suitable leaching agent to the herbal drug substance to filter the leaching solution through warm precipitation, cold precipitation, or percolation method for a specific time and then made into lumps that can be granules, particles, or powder.
